From the manin menu: Settings

Then Game tab

Then Check "Track Stats", and put in anything you like in the stats name and password. I don't think they're acually used any longer as the Epic stats servers are not on - but they need to be populated.

That should work.

It's too weird, now mouse and keyboard don't work in the game.
I used an old copy I had of UT2004.ini and it remains the same.

It was user.ini, several lines were deleted and i don't know how. I used an old one and it worked.
