with double left, you need to dodge to the left in the moment u hit the area [0:23 in the vid]

that means your dodge timing isn't good , i know this jump for 10+ years and it still fails sometimes.
Left dodge [double A], the first A press is slightly before you hit the dodge area, the second A is when you land on it, and that is literally in a split of a second.
