Spiders on vCTF. How does it feel now to you?

For the last 5 days the limit of spider mines in vCTF has been 4 per player rather than the default 8.


I've seen fewer stalemates and long overtimes and faster more intense games where the flag of reached by more players.

It might be worth increasing the goal score as it's easier to cap now.

Thoughts?

What if, for the sake of experiment, remove mines completely, and increase the number of flags to five? And then two developments of events: if the matches become too short, return four mines. if they become too long, return the three flags

4 mines is good as players are more combative now rather than mining and hiding xd. thanks!

There were sometimes games without spiders, they were really faster and more intense. From the other side, that was very hard for beginners. I suggested, and still suggest to make regular SpiderFREE days, like e.g. no spiders on Friday.

Make it 5 for the next week, lets see how different it will be. And then 3, that should be something more interesting. After all that we can choose the best option.

Ok - that's now it is for a try.

Note to self: Don't change the config in the normal way because it screws things up.

Note to self: Be happy you took a backup so that you could fix it.
