Much as I like Linux, good luck getting acceptible sound or printers working!

Only time i used Linux was Backtrack for cracking wep, not into it, altho i like
the anitcorporate ideology.

Piglet:
Linux is great. I'm no expert, but:

1. This forum and wider website including the server monitoring and admin hax is running on Linux
2. The Freon Stats Server and redirect server for the servers is running on Linux
3. At home I have an adblocking/general home automation setup running on a Pi running on Linux
4. At work I spend most of the day working on seriously massive enterprise level computers running Linux
5. My andoid phone? That's using Linux kernel.
6. My router? Linux.

Linux is pretty much everywhere. It's not a niche thing any longer.

CRONix:
As a web developer all my host servers ever used Linux so..
I know Android is based on Linux..
I know it has equal possibilities like win or mac os including intelligent home integration
Adblock in Chrome works perfectly fine so
Well, it's free so no wonder enterprises use it, as do hosting services
So i know well Linux is not marginal hobbyist thing, it's just that i been used to Win
ever since Win95

CRONix:
This guy had same problem and found the cause was Chrome stealing focus,
i tried, same, i went to task manager and turned off all processes except the
core windows functions and few others that cannot be turned off, same.
