Hi Admin team, would it be possible to add a "Mute" option to the Kick vote menu?
• Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, made up genders are from Uranus.
• It's all shits & giggles until someone giggles and shits.
• I wish I had the aim of an Eastern Bloc player.

Yeah it is very much doable. I don't know if default UT provided this, but I can certainly generate easy mutator.

Admins you know what to do!

There is an option to "Ignore text" in "escape menu" - communication tab

Wouldn't that mute all of them? Go ahead if you are fine.
Selective muting is what is necessary, as I interpret the question of OP.

You can do it on an individual player. I've never used it - so no idea if it works.

Yes you seem to be right Rom, it is suggestive of client side settings rather server imposed restriction!

I've had that option not working most of the times I've tried to use it along all those years. For some it seemed for work, but for me it never was reliable. I didn't try it on my current setup, though.
When it works, there's the thing that you end up forgetting about it and misunderstanding the chat content because you're missing out a part of a discussion.

The ingame mute functionality worked maybe a handful times for me and I have no idea whatsover is causing this behaviour. It does not matter if I use the toggle in the spec overview or the right click menu.
