How does your desktop look like?

Veica:
Speaking of which, I need to get a new phone now. My Ace II x hit the floor and the digitizer shattered, so now it doesn't recognize touch input.

Also, I was planning on having three different OS installations on my desktop:
Win7 -> Games
OS X -> Work, school, general use
Ubuntu -> If either of the first two fuck up and I need access to their file systems

I already have Win7 and Ubuntu, but it appears I'll have to buy a whole new hard-drive just to install OS X on it... I can get to theinstallation screens off the USB disk but I can't choose an install destination :\

Hicks:
Woah, 3 OS at same time? Too much, isn't it? :D Oh, sad to know about your broken phone. Sadly, shit happens...
Maybe someday I buy a console for games and then move to Ubuntu permanently. But for now... dunno.

Do you have empty disc partition? Because I think you'll need empty disc partition to install OSX on it.
Just random thought...

I have a 500GB hard-drive in my tower right now:

~400GB NTFS partition, has Windows 7 installed
~50GB ext4 partition, has Ubuntu 13.04 installed
~50GB HFS+ partition, no OS installed yet

I think the problem with the drive/partitions not showing up in the OS X install dialog is a side-effect of MBR, and all the patches/workarounds I've tried have failed so far in making anything (that isn't an external drive) appear in the drive list.

But I don't know enough about this sort of thing to say for sure :P

Why not attach the drive internally, install OSX, then use the drive externally afterwards by setting the boot option to that drive?
