How does your desktop look like?
N3Cr0:
WinXP on my Thinkpad...
[MiA]Raj:
There's bbstylemaker if you want to make something nicer :P
N3Cr0:
I used bbstylemaker. I wanted everything in white, but with some thin black borders for more overview.
However, maybe I will change the font later
N3Cr0:
*fixed*
OK, not a big difference xD
I know, I'm bugging you, but I thought about porting this style to Linux so I Installed Fluxbox, the successor of BlackBox.
I have already fixed some issues, but it's still far away from perfection.
I will add some features later... I hope I can find a small symbol bar, If not I will enable desktop icons...
also couldn't find sth like bbinterface until yet -.-

I don't like the choice of font though, kind of huge xD

Yea, I didn't like to look on the internet for some other fonts, but I like its look - the only Issue is: if I make it just a little bit smaller it will be too small. I hope I will find something similar with other size
--- Quote ---What you did with fluxbox can be achieved on Windows with bbLean aswell.
There's also another box for Linux called Openbox that you may want to try. It was originally based on Blackbox, but was later completely rewritten.

True...
However, I have read a little bit about other box style WMs, like waimea, white box, openbox, awesome WM,... what a huge list xD
Anyway, Fluxbox seems to be the most popular, but Openbox seems to be better (I will try it later). Fortunately Ubuntu has the option to choose the shell you want at login so I will have no problem to try one more :D
Btw, I have replaced the Gkrellm shell (which I ran into the slit) With Conky - a fully configurable (content, transparency, colors of anything, layout, bg image...) sytem monitor
Icons will get changed later
Unfortunately the only good *box compatible composite manager (responsible for effects like transparency) has some issues with the graphics driver (mobility radeons are energy saving but suck at functionality-.-) so it slows down the system, specially workspace switching -.-
--- Quote ---PS: Use Linkimg bbcode, this way people can click your images and view them in full size.

Sorry, but that will not bring much: I've uploaded the pictures on Flickr (unforunately they will get downsized -.-)
I will register on Deviant Art tomorrow
EDIT: I have reupped some of the pictures
--- Quote ---You mentioned BBI, get it from here: http://www.kazmix.com/bb4win/ (a mod of BBI, more features, more stable).
You can use images with BBI if you want to make some sort of app launcher. I just use few buttons with text.

Thanks, I will try it latter
