There's also many mods you can play without installing anything. Just look on UT2004 server browser (for example "freeze tag" under DM. Or Racing under Assault gametype).

Yup, Freeze Tag and especially Racing Assault are my favorite game types. Vehicle Capture the Flag is nice as well (which is a semi-official game mode anyway). There are also Trials, but I have to admit that most of the maps were too hard for me. After a while I always got angry when I fell down from the same spot over and over.
