Dead Island

(1/2) > >>

N3Cr0:
Last weekend I got a game I was waiting for a long time: Dead Island.
Because of the high gore level it is banned here in Germany... but there are options^^

It is more an action role play game, let's say a mix of Morrowind or Rage and Left 4 Dead. The main aspect is on melee though (...and cruching zombie's skulls)

It also has a multiplayer mode with up to four people, but I haven't tried that yet.

[MiA]Raj:
Looks good.

Snipe34:
lol i remember now.  I was remarking to a friend - i bet they can't play this in Germany.

N3cro: Outlaw zombie hunter :p

N3Cr0:
Well, I even got the multilanguage (German)  version xD
There is a difference between banned and forbidden games:
the banned games are on the index list A of "media hazardous for the youth" and must not get advertised and are only sold to adults (like this one). Then we have the list B with forbidden media (e.g. Manhunt). Owning these games is legal, but selling/giving it to other persons is illegal and the media disks are seized from all stores.

Back to this game: it is not well known in Germany, but Left4Dead is (and it's also banned). ...and COD MW2 (US PS3/Xbox360 version) is forbidden.

Snipe34:
MW2 banned in Russia because you walk thru Moscow Airport and shoot civilians.
