Yep, the whip idea is interesting.  It's different.  Poison too, different weapons and attack methods are interesting.  Although not multi-dimensions because that gets into sci-fi and KFZ like the weapons is about the probable, ie: could happen.  The mouse, sure, well, he looked a little pissed.

We also need a hud.  UDK uses Scaleform http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/Scaleform.html which can be constructed using Abobe Flash CS3 or 5, but the full suite is about £900,000,000,000.99 which is out of my reach.  I found an alternative that also saves stuff in the Flash format  http://vectorian.com/giotto/  I eventually managed to animated an object, but if anyone else wants to try, np

@ Snipe: Have you really read the first text? It reads to me as you don't need 3rd party tools. You just need to be able to write flash language. You can make swf objects within Scaleform.
It should be similar to working with .gif files (+ extra coding; that's why it supports this lanuage), but I doubt Unreal supports this file format.

After making a .swf file you can import it in UnrealED http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/ScaleformImport.html (I haven't read this tutorial yet.)

Wanted to improve my javascript skills, maybe learning more about css and maybe even learn php. Also I hae to re-learn C++. Now there comes flash language. Also getting used to some editors - That's gonna be some work!
