I must say I really enjoyed Out of Hell. Very scary and immersive, but if you're looking for action, this would be the wrong game. It is much more about the atmosphere. You'll be going through long passages without enemies, simply looking for what you can scavenge. Ammo is sparse and you need to keep your eyes open. The zombies are strong and dumb, you have to avoid hordes, I like that twist to it.
Played a lot of L4D2, but it will only be scary for about an hour, until you notice how easy it is to kill A LOT in a very short time. Only good with headset and a good team. But it does feature that nice VS mode where 4 humans play the survivors and 4 humans play special zombies with varying capabilities. this makes for some really nice teamplay.
Never tried the commercial Killing Floor, I am more than happy with the mod.

Meh, Resident Evil 4 was still good, but they're not really what I'd call "zombies"...
However, I've been having a blast with the DayZ mod for ArmA 2: Combined Ops.

Dead Ops Arcade is a pretty fun zombies game in COD Black ops, also the updated maps for Zombies are all awesome, just takes so damn long to progress through rounds. Black ops is a definite must have for all Zombie Enthusiasts.
