Ping Rate  (Read 6096 times)

Ping Rate

Ping rates seem to be running higher than normal
On average 40 - 150 spread in most games for players that I saw
Now 40 to over 200+  on average
One guy was over 900
Never saw it that high before
Any input on what happened

Mine's improved, actually. Mine used to average ~200, now it's ≥120
Previously known as: xS0NARx, Njordr, Latte, or whatever the "name of the week" was.

I've dropped from 50 to 30, so all smiles here. Packet loss also appears to have improved.

Dont remember mine before changing server but the speed has always be the same for me i guess  :D :D :D :D

Now its like 120 but it works for me...

My ping is running about 92
Got on when server was empty just me  and its was fine go figure ^-^

Maybe there just happened to be more players from outside Europe that time?

Use Verizon for internet connection and it crashed late last night while I was on the server
Got a DNS failure, called Verizon and the lines where swamped @ 1:00 am
Looks like that might have been major part of the problem
This morning ping looks alot better and much of the lag is gone

Yeah I was getting around 640 ping yesterday with only two players including me however it went down back to my regular 200 ping between rounds and spiked back up to 640 during the actual rounds.

Yup my ping slowly crept up to 650 ping, I managed to stay in play till the end of the match...
We won!!!  I left the game and came back an hour later with a normal 40 ping.
