KF-Community_Map

Veica:
Alright, I saw this type of idea on another forum somewhere, and thought it wouldn't be too bad if we could do something similar for our KF server.

So, the idea would be to make a map, consisting of rooms submitted by people, which would be collected and put together into a large map. The rooms would be connected and organized like a normal KF map. The sizes of each room should be reasonable, maybe 1024x1024x1024.

So, for example, I make a kitchen, then someone else might make a dining room, then we'd connect them together. Of course, that would be small, but the idea is to have several people contribute. Maybe we'd do it in a cycle, each person doing one room and then another room after others have submitted.

There is a poll above, if you wouldn't mind voting for either yes or no. If you guys choose to do this, then I'll continue explaining ;)

I know it's rude to mess with your thoughts, but let me explain it more with my own thoughts about this topic. Hehe!  8)
I'd appreciate (as I always said) a remake of "Kino der Toten" from COD:BO. Your idea that each player makes another room would be an excellent way to build this map.

Vanico:
I like the idea!
I'd love to submit one or even more rooms.

Veica:
@N3Cr0: I've tried several times to remake that map myself, with all the detail and proper scaling, it's gonna be really difficult, especially if some people here aren't as advanced as others.

Plus,  I think this would be better were it something original, that reflects the community :P

ANOTHER NOTE: If anybody does want to contribute to this, your rooms MUST be kept confidential. It's more fun when you don't know what's already been done.

oh, i want a room too, but who should be my neighboring?   ???
