I kicked in some cash.

Thanks to you guys for running a great server, keeping it going, keeping it up to date, and keeping botters off.

Nice. And I´m sure you will go on after this seven month, too. We won´t let this server die!

What about accepting bit coins? ;) Also, anonymous donations can solve the issue about who puts in what amount ;) Specially $$ is not the same in all countries as exchange rates can make $10 a lot of cash outside usa for example ;) So, to each his own as per the good heart :)

Yeah, maybe just a list of who donated and thats it, although you can see that from the purple colour nickname also...

Hi guys, I just made a contribution. Thanks again for the great server and the good job for running it. Cheers!

{added later}Oh BTW, i am for total transparency and it makes donations crystal. It might as well help some to know that its not free to run a server.  Well, on the fact that some people may not be comfortable with the amount other gave,  it may be fair then to underline that any amount, small and not so small, helps and is welcome.  In that matter, i really liked the Broadcast message i saw today, a nice reminder. Thanks again.

Just so you know, the server isn't yet running. I've put my test server online with a near-copy while we work with the host to get the Mia server back up and running or hire a new one.

I added the "nag" to the test server as some regular players may not have known about this forum to know what is going on.

Much appreciated.

We need to find out if a more powerful CPU would allow us to run lag free, or whether the problem is the game engine.

In order to find this out we need to get use of a seriously powerful machine to do a test on.

We're exploring various options, but don't have an answer yet.

If anyone knows a data centre owner who has such a machine available and is willing to help us get a test done, please let me know

When I say seriously powerful I mean one with a CPU mark score over 2730. See the CPUs on this list for examples: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html
