Stuck In Spectate Mode

Can someone help me with this problem? I joined a game in KF and was on SPECTATE MODE for the duration of the game. Then when I tried to join again, I CAN'T. I got stuck in spectate MODE!!!!! I can't seem to get out of it. WHAT TO DO?????

Have you tried to open the console and type in 'start'?

This works for me at least. Got this problem several times.
