Was wondering what mouse model does everyone use and how much do you spend on your mouse on average ? :D
I ordered a new mouse. Was a bit thrifty and splurged 30 Euros as a first as most of the time I was using 10 bucks.
Do you guys know about this? https://www.titanwolf-gaming.de/gauntlet-2 (https://www.titanwolf-gaming.de/gauntlet-2)
Hope in 1-2 weeks this baby will make my gaming time more fun ;)
Cheers,
Hellfire
For me it's not so much the mouse itself as it's the software driving it. I'm on OSX and Apple continues to screw with that part of the OS and then it's a waiting game for the mouse manufacturer to correct. Very frustrating. Windows shouldn't be that issue but setting the various buttons for shortcuts obviously takes some time to commit to muscle memory. Also, too many buttons in easy-to-press locations will invariably result in 'how the f*(k did that happen' moments. :)
Logitech MX518... it's the best mouse I've ever used. I have to buy the occasional new usb cable to keep it going. I have newer more expensive mice but they aren't as good
I use A4-Tech Bloody V8M currently, paid 25 bucks for this baby, good stuff ;D

I used mx518 too 2 times, always same problem with disconnecting cable after playing 1-2 years but i dont complain logitech always replaced it. They even replaced it with g400s wich is the successor, it's as good as mx518 but now it start to get same problem of disconnecting cable during cable and now out of warranty but it's not hard to repair this problem is very classic.
I use a $5 office mouse, I don't know the mark because it has already been erased because its stuff is horrible.
Hope this helps
simple a4tech. always use it for 10 or more years. replaced twice, by same model. old one is still keep working, but wheel starts to be glitchy

Thanks a lot guys :) [MiA]Dave-Yes..I know I will make a few mis-clicks with so many buttons on the side. But I will try a few macros hehe..@Piglet: Thanks a ton for the model. I checked out and indeed everyone says its the greatest mouse ever built! And for some its been 11 years and running! Now a days, they just make us buy every 2 years! @BJ--Sup should be gifted our old mouse to get him addicted to gaming mouses :D If sup can be this good with his mouse, then imagine him with our babies :D

For real , 4 euro mouse :D
Proof that it doesn't matter how expensive mouse/keyboard you got :)
it is believed that wireless mice are slower than the others
Is that true ?
Slight delay introduced in wireless communication. So slight that muscle memory compensates for it, IMO. If you have wireless interference, different story.
@sup: you reminded me to order a mouse pad in few months. Good to know your mouse ;) @MaD-SkunK-Nice wireless mouse :) It does create a slight delay but like Mia[dave] said, your brain will adjust your aim to it. But from my experience, the battery life of wireless device can cause issues towards the end of battery life (I use wireless keyboard for gaming to preserve laptop for work :D ). So, keep your batteries new and you won't feel anything. There are plenty of gaming mouse going wireless.
@Domino-gaming mouse helps with dpi change (sniper vs rocket aim). But with my big ass mouse (which btw I am getting on 29th yay as amazon confirmed) I will have a mild edge with macros. Speed in 1 click to run like a dog in ctf :D Delay in combinations thanks to net lag has wrecked havoc in my runs before lol.
Cheers and happy gaming everyone :)

My favorite.
Had to change the inside on some Logitech, cause had no PS/2 on the new PC.
M525. Mouse of champions.

MX518 - it's the best mouse ever.
Now - looks like it's coming back..

wow man :) Thanks for this news about this making a comeback :D
I will save up for this one for sure ;)
You can get old style ones from AliExpress...
Coolermaster spawn was a pretty good mouse too:
https://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-Spawn-Optical-Switches/dp/B004RJJMBI
True :) But new model has better specs? Also, you think ali express are originals?
I have one of the AliExpress ones. I think it's an exact duplicate. It's recognised by the Logitech software. I'll give it a try in game later
Well, I used the Aliexpress MX518 all evening and it looks, feels and plays identically to my ancient-many-time-repaired original Logitech one.
I use a Logitech G500 for very long time, with a faulty-micro-switch-double-click issue, which will be replaced soon (https://www.overclock.net/forum/375-mice/1601162-diy-logitech-g500-japanese-omron-switch-upgrade.html).
The software you only need once the program it, you can removed the software later on. Works fine w/out any software :)
I've looked around for a new one ( i want a Logitech) but the current g500 series are freaking ugly.
G500 (2009) :ok: replaced by
G500s (2012) :ok: replaced by
G502 (2014) :cerealguyspitting: last version
The nice one about this mouse is:
Freespin option (once used you don't want anything els ;D ) and its wired (aka g500 series)
The most important one is the sensor. It wont register the mousepad if the mouse is lifted by 3a4mm, which i do a lot :)
Good to know Piglet :) Thanks and I might order one for my new upcoming laptop.
Nardaq_NL bro I had a few questions for you on the laptop thread :)
Having owning many mice over the years (Logitech MX1000, Razer Copperhead, Razer Imperator, Logitech G9x, Logitech G303), the one I'm using right now is the Logitech G305 and it might be the best one I've ever used. It's wireless, the battery (1xAA) lasts half a year, has no delay compared to wired mice and still has a polling rate of 1000 Hz. And it's not even that expensive! Combine that with a huge mousepad and you're all set for low-sens FPS gaming experience!
