I found the offending logic in the core game code and worked around it. Instant shield re-gen is no more.
I'm not entirely sure the flag runners will be pleased.
Its good will be more challenging fr us:)

And I find offensive logic in another matter. Now the arbok and adghost, and sausage, and who else knows how to Alien jump? Now they can freely jump from one tower to another. And what remains for me? I used to have a shield against them, which they carried out in seconds, thanks to their accuracy. Against a tank shot, I had a chance at full health to click the shield and survive with the remnants of 5-10 health. Against twin beam bender, I had a chance to survive! And fly away with the remnants of health to the base. Now I have none of this, and three to four players endure the runner with the flag easily and gracefully. That is, we encourage the PRO players, and we beat on the hands of dropouts. Thanks, I tried, quite tasteless. I do not like this fix. I can't oppose the same arbock's anymore and I don't like it. You can call it butthurt.
I could increase the regeneration rate. Probably worth doing considering the rate of fire

Perhaps. I even tried to study it, but I quit because it starts to look like a training for e-sports, not a pure, clean, good fun. I am more for the social component, and my rating on freon directly screams about it. 1.7? or 2.2? can't remember.

Killer, Technically, in the last games, Arbok did not do Alien jumps, he just turned on the speed combo on the roof, and do the shield jump from it, and unexpectedly for everyone appears in the middle of the map after this. Alien is usually used by an adghost with a result of 50 \ 50%
The only player I knw who never fails in alien jump is XaX... Whenever he takes flag m ready to shoot him in air xd

Yes Bigballz it is he knows it, i never did or tryed Alien jump before i find it lame, they should delete this crap.
But i guess i will have to start learning it since this new adjustment :D
Anyway i think the instant Shield was just fine since we are a Berserk server :)

If I may say, I don't master the alien jump (the one to cap) but I think that it's a good thing that some players do
It add some black magic to the game and I like that

He often fails. But he tries to do it all the time. And his success chances are very high, more than 50%.
Really. When he is in the game in the opposite team, I always look carefully when "XaX has our flag" and aim our roof or centre of the map. I even try to be more in raptor or camping in the enemy base to be ready to stop him.

Camera gets to the wall. Maybe not very nice moving picture, but you can see what you need.
great video, and yes xax fails sometimes.... but u didnt stop him at alien jump, u stop him at runing, is funnier when he gets shoot in the middle of alien jump and faaaaallls jajaja... anyway nice airskills tovarich!

It's now set to regenerate by (configurable) 3 units per regen time, rather than the standard 1. That means it regenerates 3x faster than it runs out/3 times faster than it does normally in-game when it's not instant regenerating.

Great! It was your comments that made me look at the code again and add in the configuration options.
If you want to try other multiples, please let me know - but when I tested it 3 seemed about right.

i can't found thread about spec slots, but i need to say something, so i cry it here a bit.
We have a situation below

Teams are definitely not even. And specs slots are limited by three! i cannot spec or change team at all!
And we plays it like 12 minutes. Some ppl comes, but situation is still the same, cuz all of them joined blue, by the server. And when i finally had a chance to quit for a spec slot - this shit happened. One dude from my team sees that i am go spec, so he decide to left the game. Or he just left, dunno.
