Is anyone having this problem? It keeps crashing. Maybe I didn't patch correctly?

- Rename your directory to ut2004.old
- Clean install from https://www.oldunreal.com/
- Test
If UT2004 works you can put back your user.ini/UT2004,ini from the old directory if you have made major changes.

First, I tried starting over. That seems to have worked. I deleted the UT2004 folder. Then I pasted in the backup. The I deleted all executables. Then I extracted the patch into the UT2004 folder. Then I did the ut2004.ini edits. So far, so good.
Previously, I had forgotten to delete all executables. When I realized the mistake, I deleted them and pasted in the new executables. I figured that would be okay, but maybe not. Hopefully, no more crashes.

Hi guys,, the preview 17 version is Hanging mi Pc every 30 minutes,, total feezed and some time blue screen, running on windows 7 , did some have same problem ?

There is a bug here. We've added more debug for next release to help find the cause. After the next release, when you get it, please let me have the UT2004.log from when it happens.

I've not heard of this happening to anyone else. When it happens next please can you let me see the UT2004.log?
In order to get a full log you may need to update one setting in the UT2004.ini to

I tried to change Patch twice... extracting from this file zip "OldUnreal-UT2004Patch3374-Windows-60bd31b3" into existing UT 2004 folder.
then when I restart the game... appears a strange message " VCOMP140.DLL file is not found please reinstall"
