I used to play daily on Cain's Lair 32 player ONS server in the states until one was set up in the uk. 130 ping average. Hitscan wasn't possible but just used other weapons and had fun....and scored towards the top of the leaderboard.

However, the general rule is that ping is king!

I like to see the weapon. It occasionally gets reset to no weapon and no ammo indication, but it feels odd to me.
