u can hide. but if you hide, u cannot do anything. just wasting time. and it will be no harm to enemy team and no benefit for yours, instead of.

so, if it will be more or less talented pilot on stolen raptor, he can easily entering and exiting that zone, and mocking the opposing team and distracting it. Sort of like throwing spiders off the tower on a vehicles
It will be all the same. Your raptor will be damaged if you stay long in that zone, and it will not change. The only thing that will change, that it will become a warning and you can get out of zone before the raptor blows up.

I don't think that I'm convinced that there's any need for a change. I can't see any legitimate reason for being there.

It's a bit like the base portal on Torlan on top of the base towers. Put a manta or raptor on one to kill players going through it and my code will fairly quickly put an end to it. Most people will never be impacted as in normal play you are never there.

How do people feel about campers on the side walls leading up to middle node sitting there for ages stopping the node from being built? Is that something that makes the game more fun for most players?

Isn´t camping on top of torlan tower at all forbidden, except in the case your team has the majority of the nodes?
Dont say the server rules clearly no? :hmm:

"Server rules: ......
5. No camping at enemy power core unless your team has captured more nodes.
Failure to follow this simple set of rules can result in a ban from our server(s)."

To answer your question: No, it doesn´t make a game more funny if players are camping at unlocked nodes to prevent that they are builded. No matter which node.
But on the other side, fighting at the middle node is normal (If it can be built.).

Imho the anti-camping changes in game - torlan and vctf - are a good thing (Except for Dcnr  ;) :D ).

I think spawnkilling is the most annoying thing

i think it must be allowed only in the nodes that are being fighted for, in the frontline of war to say it, the other in the rear should be considered spawnkill and lame play. Also, yes Dcnr is a pain in the ass, the size of a cucumber.

I'm particularly looking at the antics of players like 'blacks' and 'donkey'. They find a spot hidden from being easily found and each time the node is started they fire a single shot which stops it from being able to get built. If they pick the right spot the node can be locked down indefinitely

Piglet didn´t you said one time, that every spawnkiller can be shot down/be defeaten? sometimes if you cant even get a weapon than its hard to do said. and for me spawnkilling permanently with vehicles, is not only childish and ruin games, its a sort of sabbin vehicles.
see the beginning of the video and you see what i mean:

or take that one:

New mission. Play vs House, spawnkill as much as you can ;)
Lets help him learn how to handle that.

I spawn kill for a while if a map reaches stalemate or I get stranded without transport. I'm happy to stop the enemy team starting node 2 if I can in Torlan.

What I see as problematic is where players do it repeatedly and waste a player slot and a vehicle doing it. If someone is spawn killing the best option is either not to fire and leave them to it or to go after them and frag them
