Also, about the blunderbuss supposedly taking out a fleshpound in two hits, doesn't the hunting shotgun already do that in 2-3 hits without damaging the shooter? I think you might want to make it be able to take out a flesh pound in 1 hit when said flesh pound is literally right in-front of you.
