Does anyone else miss assault?

I for one enjoyed playing assault. Did anyone else like having assault as an option? Maybe we can bug the mods into bringing assault back O:-)

I do play Assault rounds when i play but i guess we play a differend time zone

I'm not a fan of assault... probably more mostly because I don't know how to fly the aircraft or do the objectives

I don't really like the original assault either, however I like the modded assault maps.

Loved playing the scorpion race map beta with this piece from the cbp2 pack. Can't find the version with this song on the net. Maybe I need to mod it and get it back in there.

If there's enough demand I can always stand up a berserk assault server on the UK test box.

I don't know how much longer we will have access to that machine though, as it's been lent to us by the very nice chap who owns the data centre.

I've never seen the server die faster than when assault gets voted in and everyone leaves, lol

It was fun for a bit yesterday, but it seems like a huge momentum killer and there's a smaller niche of people that like it vs people that don't
