This is my man cave/office.
I decided to convert part of my garage into a sound-proofed/insulated office to allow me some personal space when working from home, and to crank up the volume without annoying the neighbours.
I was going to start a build blog, but haven't had much time recently, so here are the main materials:
1000 Gauge Damp Proof Membrane all around
100mm Rockwool all around.
ProSound SoundBoard 4 - Walls
ProSound SoundMat 3 Plus - Floor
Acoustic Plasterboard - Ceiling
25mm Celotex - Ceiling.
420w Infra-Red poster for heating if required.
Underground armoured Cat6 cabling into switch.
Underground armoured SWA cabling into CU.
Customer UPVC door with ABS Avocet lock.
3 x compartment trunking.

And here is the command centre
35" LG ultrawide curved monitor.
ASUS PN51 NUC
Razer Huntsman V2 Keyboard (optical switches)
Razer Basilisk v3 Mouse
CO2 monitor (this is a sealed room, so I have to keep an eye on the levels if I shut the door, or else keep the door open slightly.
ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C with USB-A Dock. Handy for quick switching between work and play PC's
Bar of Cadburys chocolate & 0% Corona Cero
