p00ty from Omni wants to know about rights to vehicles

hello all, big admin question here. I know the user p00ty on Facebook and I don't think he's here just yet, but, I still need to fund out which map in particular we're talking about but, here's the question. Do you know who has the rights to allow omni server to copy onto their servers some of the helicopters and stuff that I've seen on the maps I've played. Like the Afgan map, with those 1-man motorcycles, or that Big map with very high cliffs and Soviet style helicopters?

The person you need here is Justice/Absolute_Madness - he is the main mapper admin chap around here.

He's got a rather nice collection sitting in a playing field ready for use wherever needed...I don't know anything more about acceptible usage, where they came from etc. He should be able to advise:

Hello All.

Yes, looking for more, new and interesting vehicles.  That map looks similar to a vehicle loadout we have over at OMNI.  But there's a few different ones on there.  I'd love to use those, just don't want to "steal" anyone's content.

Justice and I tried all those Vehicles on test server. Some are good which we can add in maps too, some are funny like the UFO Saucer! some too OP and that huge Honey Badger is Sick!

That map was just a "parking lot" for vehicles i ve collected around. I have fixed some of them to fit with vctv mod. If you need anything, feel free to PM me .

So general consensus among several acitve omni admins (myself included) is that feel free to use any of the Omni Content, Maps and such.  Given this is such an old game and content keeps it going sharing is a good thing.  Basically as long as you're not selling it its fine.    One thing is Omni's maps tend to embed the vehicles, so while there's a vehicle loadout map...some are missing and some are different depending on the map, like MagicIsle-2017 mentioned above.    If you need anything specific let me know (I host the redirect, so I have all the files).

I'm having trouble warming up with vctf in contrast to freon (maybe because of the lack of exactly that :-p) but the car tryout map looks like fun.

Is it only available on the test server or is there any other way to try it out?
