Funny is, that when you route from DE over NL into UK you get anouther routing and have no problem. If you route direct from DE to UK the chance is high you get the problems in the UK.

My connection goes into UK on the first hop with 18 ms .. the next has the problem.

@hagis when you have problems also when you are in UK can you try a IP in DE?
That's the ceonss .. it's sitting next to the backbone in Frankfurt.

Something to consider - UDP routing from Düsseldorf to a slightly different IP
Code: [Select]
traceroute to 80.4.151.146 (80.4.151.146), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets

 2  et-4-0-8.edge6.Dusseldorf1.Level3.net (62.67.22.193)  7.057 ms  7.031 ms ddf-b2-link.ip.twelve99.net (62.115.171.184)  6.780 ms
 3  adm-bb4-link.ip.twelve99.net (62.115.135.146)  16.285 ms  16.252 ms  16.226 ms
 4  uk-lon01c-ri2-ae-22-0.aorta.net (213.46.175.97)  16.580 ms ldn-bb4-link.ip.twelve99.net (62.115.134.27)  16.163 ms telw-ic-5-ae19-0.network.virginmedia.net (213.105.23.0)  17.384 ms
 5  ldn-b2-link.ip.twelve99.net (62.115.120.239)  15.654 ms  15.452 ms *
 6  sotn-core-2a-ae2-0.network.virginmedia.net (62.254.85.138)  20.046 ms uk-lon03a-ri2-ae-20-0.aorta.net (213.46.174.117)  12.457 ms  14.782 ms
 7  * * sotn-metnet-3a-lag-55.network.virginmedia.net (86.28.60.194)  16.014 ms
 8  * drkn-bh1-ia1.network.virginmedia.net (213.48.17.22)  20.884 ms uk-lon03a-ri2-ae-2-0.aorta.net (84.116.135.46)  10.837 ms
 9  * * unreal.miasma.rocks (80.4.151.146)  23.640 ms

Maybe switching the IPs would fix the problems temporarily?

Probably not something I can help with, you shouldn't be getting pl on a fibre connection; it means your network is compromised (light getting in where it shouldn't).
Equally could be a nasty virus, run a scan anyway :) Eat cookies  8)

it's an ISP / interconnect issue,.

typically I called ISP to complain and it's working ok now when I test it - lol

hopefully it was an issue that's fixed but probably not going to know until peak times in the evening...

I wouldn't expect pl on the second hop. Is that consistent over time? To other places? That's not acceptable from your ISP

traceroute on linux use UDP default.
