It could potentially help but I think you'd struggle correlation wise going by times played on the server since I'd say it's more map based then time based
Playing against bots aside some early morning matches result in 2 players with the flag unable/unwilling to find each other and not getting as many points as they could
Really maps are one of the bigger outlyers though saying that; a map like longestyard gets people a whole bunch of points compared to more normal maps (Obviously map-to-map is complex for the algorithm so easiest way might be to remove them from stats tracking)
I think DK's referring to more how the games played compared to the algorithm itself; a good enough player can potentially join an even(ish) game and carry their team to victory
