Ha! It's not that far from my birthday. What I'm really after is:

* a new hip
* a new back
* a replacement sciatic nerve

I'm trying to get fit. After many years of doing nothing more than cycling a short distance to work - and after a year of not even doing that I've just started following a training program with the aim of being able to do better than a jog at Park Run.  If I can't have a hip, back and fully working nerve for my birthday, what I'd like is:

* a reasonable pair of over-ear (possibly bone conduction) headphones for running
* a sweatband to stop perspiration getting into my eyes and stinging so much I can't see

Take a look at this channel. This guy looks legit to me, although I will admit I have not tried his suggested stuff yet. (I'm not a doctor, and this is not medical advice!)

Thanks. The back and nerve I just have to live with. The hip probably just needs appropriate excercise.

Hoping for running headphones :D My training run went well today. It's the first time I've felt I was doing OK on a cadence / Acceleration drill run.

I find VR a great way to make cardiovascular and stretching exercises a lot of fun. If you got a few hundred spare it's worth a go + I think you can get refund if you don't like it within 31 days? Quest 3 is the best out of the Meta one's in my opinion, mainly due to the lenses.

Nice one man. Cycling is probably healthier due to impact shock on the knees/legs.

I used to run five miles after finishing a late shift (20 years ago), just so I could hit the off license before it shut and play T32 ONS - carrot stick synopsis  :))
