Also new here freiwald, almost 40 from Germany.

I was playing a lot of UT2003 and UT2004 back when they were released, especially DM, ONS and Assault.
When installing the game again i looked forward to play some intense DM or Onslaught rounds but servers are so empty so i checked out the only real alive server, which is yours. vCTF is new to me but i like it, just like i like the faster weapons. Actually i went back to a DM round and it was so slow, i guess the faster weapons fit perfectly for today's standards.

My sight got so bad over the years, i rarely play anything on PC these days and yet i still manage to get a few hits here and there. Sure im not as good as back then but sometimes i still got my aim. Feels good

Its great to have a game to logon every evening to have some fun, thank you for hosting all of this and thank you for playing with me.

That's because most of them used to play competitively!

Totally agree with you there beware the bufty rox. Most people I can predict where they're gonna bounce to, but bufty always has me flummoxed

I have the same on VCTF with the "snipers" although I blame it on "Netcode" 
(I tell myself over 110 they get a real advantage and I got a better chance against my Hero's with almost the same ping)

Wish those would go to Freon sometimes and see if and how they score over there.

You should try again mate. It's not all about the aim and kills - being sneaky, staying alive and thawing can literally turn the match around. The top scorers on the freon server are the best at aim/strategy not necessarily both. Check piglets freon guide it does help, and especially knowing the maps - makes it very hard to find your frozen teamies if you don't.
I fail a lot but sometimes get kills on the top players - more through luck than anything else. Although I'm best at killing walls and myself in the process
