Change font on Settings page

Some of the menu text can appear small and hard to read when using large screens with high-res', and at times I have to squint to read the server lists.

I've found a fix for this by changing Verdana8 to Verdana16 in Line 1926 of GUI2K4.int (System folder).

If on a lower res', it can be quite obtrusive.

Another of my quests is to increase the font size of Player names in-game while retaining my current res'.
With my advancing years I find that I often resort to Mr. Magoo mode and leave nose prints on my screen as I attempt to read the names of players before cussing them out or praising (although not so much of the former...I leave that to those with an agenda or axe to grind).

I can revert to a default res'. but that negates the benefits of the visual gorgeousness of a high res' display with all the trimmings.

A large Dominos Pizza (with fancy assed crust OR 2 x additional toppings) is in it for whoever can direct me to the line of code to adjust in-game player names to make it more legible for me*.

I'll have a look. Are you talking about your own team names over the top of your team (the beacons), or the enemy player names shown in greeen as you approach them?

If you want to change the font of the progress messages, or the console messages etc you can set the ones you want in Engine.int. Just add in this section and change the font to the one you want:

This also affects the size of the stat net & stat fps text, which I was struggling to read.
I've changed all 3 x lines to:  2K4Fonts.Verdana16

Not sure which forum skin you're using, but I find "Curve" easier on the eye than "Karbon".
There are only 3 of us using curve, while 1097 prefer the dark side.

It'd be a shame to lose the forum and the wealth of info' it contains.  That said, I don't have to maintain it and deal with all of it's quirks and foibles. 

This thread alone has had 3949 views since it was created a few weeks ago, so the site is still proving popular with the community.

I'll have another go at migrating it in the week. I had it "working" but not pretty with themes and this nice front page.

This current box is out of date, and can't take the update. The new server is up to date - but too up to date to take the old code to run the update... and I don't want to downgrade.
