Alien Swarm - new free game from Steam released!

Alien Swarm is a futuristic first-person top-down shoot-em-up shooter computer game and Source SDK release developed by Valve Corporation. The game is a remake of the Alien Swarm mod for Unreal Tournament 2004, developed by the original team after they were hired by Valve.

One question - how do you get console when on MP mode? And can you play FPS on Multiplayer mode?

You must select a key (button) for console in game setting.
I tried the FPS mode but that didn't work online.

One more question - how can you play another map on Practice mode (Offline)? The only map that I can play OFFLINE is Landing Bay.

Online before was pretty intense - experienced players were very organized with no patience for noobs, except keep out of the way.
