KF-Crypt
« on: July 12, 2011, 15:35 »

The smell of rot and dissolution lies in the air. Survive, or your corpse will be part of it.

Map: http://www.mediafire.com/?esa54q1b1bwvdus

Info about map:
- Map is pretty small.
- You can run in circles so you can actually make it on solo.
- No doors!
- 2 Spawns
- Deep holes, watch your step!
- Song should be included in the KF-Folder, no manual download. :)

Known issues:
- No issues yet, report them!

Special thanks to N3cr0 who tested the map and gave me feedback. :)

Downloading right now.

If those holes at open area or corridor or any easy accessable place - this is possible bug. You should place there killing volumes on case if zeds fall there. Next, as i remember this is second map without archivation. Always put your maps in zip archive. Bigger file size didn't make maps tough. Next - screenshots. Save it in jpg format - there's no reason to wait 1.8mb pic to downloading.
That's all for beginning. I'll see what i can find in map later 8)

Well, I tested it. Zeds actually don't fall in there very often so I don't think it's a very big problem.
The format stuff is helpful, thanks!

Nah... better is made preventive measures. Example: the car at Arcade-Gas-Station. It often pulls zeds over playable zone and they get stuck there. Same happened with patty too when i tried fight him alone (other 2 ppl unfortunately died).

I can't start the map:
Code: [Select]
Warning: Failed to load 'MattTropical': Can't find file for package 'MattTropical'
I recommend to put it into the same archive then and upload it

 :( To Vanico,

I can't get the map in the list, so I editted the Level Info properties. Changed the name in DecoTextName to KF-Crypt. And changed the Title to same (KF-Crypt).

Got it to show on the list, but am getting a missing texture file message - MaxTropicalTex.

 :( To Vanico,

Nice small map. You seem to like 2 stairs with porch view on either wall typecast on your maps.

P.S.
You need the MaxTropicalTex file, but you can go around it by re-building all the map with the editor. Then re-save the MaxTropicalTex.usx (staticmeshes) file. Then play the map.
