Hello & Anyone still play KF

Hello there

I remember this mod from a long time ago. It was a lot of fun especially the Tower Defense map. I brought the steam version of the game when it first came out but never really liked it that much ( that was more to do with steam being annoying than the game itself )

I havent played ut2004 in a while but have recently installed it again just to play KF. Was hoping to find some of the old maps like swamp and sub_aquarium but i have a feeling these are not available on kf 2.52? ( can someone p[lease confirm this for me )

I have a powerful quad core game server at my disposal ( UK ) What i would like to know is how many people still play this mod on ut200 and what version.

Judging by some comments there is a lack of kf ut2004 servers. I am willing to run some dedicated ( 24/7 ) kf servers from my dedi box if there is a demand for them.

comments, questions and suggestions please.

The Miasma server is still up and there are lots of players still playing it!
Sub Aquarium and Swamp are still on the server.

When it comes to players, there's few. Usually at evenings (after 20:00, GMT+0) there's someone always on our server.
So, I guess there's not much demand for more servers.

Its already installed on my laptop and i have created a server on my dedi box ( server isnt actually running atm )

I couldnt get custom maps running for some reason. I will try again later. Also most of the kf maps that were uploaded to sites such as rapidshare, filefront & uplading have been removed ^^

Try the Mia survival map pack on Moddb.com - it should be downloadable.

Well, about the Community: I wish there would be some more players (at least there came some new ones last weeks^^).
So Raj's right when he says we got enough, but on the other hand I think it's sad to see just one only working 24/7 server.

So my Idea was running a 2nd server Friday night when Raj's server is full (happens not every week, but sometimes).
