Rain in maps doesn't work?

I tried everything to get rain in my new map... but every time I try to copy the xWeatherEffect from another map, the editor crashes and I get this message:

Maybe you should check rain's texture in weather trigger (display > skins).

Small map with rain icon.   Can't see the rain icon in 3d only 2d.   Also 2 emitters, 1 with little puddles ripples and the second with splashes.

And on a second note, for some reason I can't see the rain from the xWeatherEffect, but I can see the icon. If anyone else has the same problem or a solution, could you please tell me

EDIT:
I shut down my computer last night, rebooted it this morning and loaded the map from above, and it works, I can see the rain -.-
I don' t know why, but not it apparently works.
