need help getting KF 2.52 started

well yeah, i'm not very experienced with installing games, getting stuff working etc.

whenever i try to start up my KF 2.52, it tells me : "cant find : ..\system\UT2004.exe.

so i went to the readme file which told me to install it into the UT2004 map ( i instilled it onto my desktop ). so after doing this, still gave me the same message. any1 know how to get rid of this problem? thanks alot

by the way, i don't own UT2004, but a friend told me i didn't need it so..

You should install ut2004 first (with ECE bonus pack). And only after this install KF.

"cant find : ..\system\UT2004.exe." means you installed it in wrong place.

After installing, make sure than in UT2004 directory you have a folder called "KFMod20". Inside that folder will be all the mod files.

If you're afraid of viruses then stop pirating...

I get UT2004 for 10€ in any game store here in Germany. I would rather pay 10€ than 500€ for a new laptop

ok guys i got 1 more question, i got UT2004 installed and i got it patched, but when i try to run killingfloor now it gives me the message saying :

"your CD key appears to be unvalid."

both UT and KF are downloaded, so any1 got an idea how i should get a cd key?
