Vanico your maps are good.  But they have a problem with theme.  For example, a themed Chinese Restaurant - it would look Chinese, or what we associate with Chinese.  A themed English Restaurant would be as ppl expect it to look, etc.

So you're making KF maps, which should also be themed.

The themes of KF would follow:

1/ KF is based in the UK: what does the UK look like?  what are the buildings like?
2/ There are zombies.

But, if you want to move KF to an exotic location like a Sth American ruin, then (in keeping with the zombie theme) what are the soldiers of the DRF doing there?  Reason need to be given.  Believable reasons.

Theme is like reading a war story and suddenly it drops some SciFi on you - I mean for example, UT weapons in KF don't really work.  Cod with UT weapons wouldn't work either.  Most ppl play KF like cod, like battlefield to use basic bang bang weapons.

In making a KF map, or any map, you should remember you're creating and adding to a story.  And ppl like stories to have reasons otherwise the story becomes unbelievable, and most ppl want to believe.  Hence, theme.  Like you go to a Chinese Restaurant run by Estonians, and it's decor is contemporary American - would be novel, but laughable.

Keep theme in mind when you're adding to the KF story, and ppl will feel happier playing your maps.  They come to KF because they like the concept of the theme, created by Alex Quick, the orginal creator of the KFmod.

As I said, your maps are good, but unless you have a damn good excuse for exotic locations, your maps will fail - even if they are excellent maps.

Suppose i should add, maps like box, like Net are pretty generic - they could be anywhere, so they are most probably in the UK and by default comply with the theme.

Awww, yeah... that's the problem with outdoor maps because you can actually see what's outside... :/

Maybe they're just crazy archaeologists with weapons while zeds took over the world? :D

More story, more gameplay, more beauty in my maps, I will work on that!

I've tried the map with Hicks, ML, crazzy and Co. today.
It works on the server, maybe too many people caused the crash?

Well sure: " crazy archaeologists with weapons while zeds took over the world?"  Then maybe add some KF stuff to say Clamely/ Horzine moved there to secretly bred the zs or something like that...

Crashes  - I noticed some crashes too.  Checking KFMod20.log may explain why the crashes.  I think Raj will check the server .log as well.
