Just installed Dead Space One. Creepy.

Never seen that movie, but yes, looks like it's inspired from that.
But in the game you mostly kill mutated or mad people/monsters - responsible for all the mad things going on is an asterois like artefact called "the marker"

There are also Comics (they are older than the game), but I never read them.

its a thrill every time even after the 5th time you played it to the very end (idk if 'the very end is correct english... i just now my teacher said we should read the book from 'the very beginning')

Played Dead Space on PS3 =] pretty good =D but you should try the iOS version o_o I have it on my iPod Touch and it's creepy as hell. Maybe I'll record some game play for you guys sometime, it's ridiculous X_X

I'm at zero-G circle. Had a hard time figuring out jump mode. I finally looked it up in a cheat site and it told me how. AIM then press CTRL.

Zero G rooms were always fun, but you cannot rest too long because of the lack of oxygen. Anyway, it's fun to shoot your way free before or while jumping, kill the monsters there and evade deadly obstacles.

I hAVE PLAYED DEAD SPACE and aso saw that movie but until today never compare this could be an inspiration, It most been the inspiration for the game... Lol i love killing those mutated bastards...

Funny story...my lil bro was playing Dead Space with his girlfriend sleeping beside her in a dark room and a 56 inch tv. Something woke up his girlfriend and she couldn't get back to sleep, so she decided to watch him. Time passed and my bro couldn't get past one part because he was tired as heck and couldn't think straight, so he decided to go to sleep. WELL my lil bro's girlfriend picked up the controller and tried it (she is a pretty good gamer btw), than a few seconds later...........*AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH* she screams to the top of her lunges, she wakes up my brother completely and gets the shit scared out of her completely. In the end, they both couldn't sleep and had an all nighter lol. Funny enough she won't even let him play the game when she is around anymore xD
