Simple Braised Beef with hoarseradish mash potatomethod:marinate braising steak with oil red wine garlic chopped onion carrot celary for a few hours or over night.Take out the beef from the marinate to drain, seal the beef in a pan colour both sides place into a casserole dish.Drain and cook the veg that was in the marinate in the same pan, once softened add the remaining wine to the pan maybe add stock reduce a little while then add to casserole make sure the beef is covered. Seal with a lid or foil place in oven for two hours gas mark 150/160 degrees cent. beef should come out tender, thicken your sauce and pass through a strainer...cook your potato for mashing add little cream, butter not forgetting the hoarse radish sauce. cook little veg..
