yeah I know ...language it ain't such a big topic


I am here to just talk about the language  spoken in the miasma server ... English is the most common and the most used language and mostly understandable language out there



I've been a part of this server from a very long time... I just wanted to ask ...

if its possible for the players on miasma to use more English , so that we can understand each other

yes it's true, English is the main language to be spoken on the server.
but we can not control that everyone speaks english

Some servers have it as a rule and enforce it. I don't know what Raj wants here. I personally only speak English well enough to communicate so it's quite alienating to have other people using another language.

The other thing to note is that the server isn't a chat room. If people want to chat rather than play I suggest they arrange a date or use Skype.

I never said that you can control what anyone says on the server

yes this is the thing . I've seen the English speaking rule on many servers not just one server



and yeah piglet its not chating room but we can surely chat while in spec mode by pressing R ... don't u agree ....

but how can u tell when a person is speaking something and its not abusive and rude...

yesterday a person abused me and my family in his own language


I coudn;t understand what he said and google coudn;t even translate


that was the only reason I made this thread


just wanted to ASk you admins ...most of who are my friends for help



everybody has his own thing and everybody speaks his mind



but how can u tell if he is abusing you and saying something about you if u cant understand him

I-if you couldn't understand what he said and Google couldn't translate, how did you know he was abusing you and your family? :O

Although I do understand what you are getting at, I don't think it's a rule we really need to enforce compared to others. I personally don't know any languages other than English and I could care less if someone's insulting me period, let alone in another language.
