Just picked up a new monitor the MSI one I had can no longer handle higher refresh rates.
Can't remember who suggested a curved monitor but it seems a really good spec for £120
AOC C27G4ZXED .
Haven't tried it with UT yet...

No real reason for going down the Intel route other than Quiet PC were selling a model called Serenity Ultimate Gamer i18 and it came with an Intel chip installed.  I figured I'd build one with similar spec' and source the parts separately.

This build has really helped up my game, it has propelled me from a crap player to a mediocre one in a short space of time.  It almost feels like I'm cheating  O:-) >:D O:-)

I got a test intel nuc i5-7260U with 24Gb and 640gpu.

When I start unreal it goes in chopper mode.
This compared with my "production PC" is a terrible game experience.

So I can imagine that your new system would and should make progress.  >:(

"mediocre" maybe, still better than me imho O:-)   :))

I'm liking the colour scheme you have going on there, Grim and the whiteness of everything (damn you're tidy hehe).  For my build I really wanted a white pc with beige noctua fans, but I found it too difficult to source white parts at the time.  Any particular reason you went with the Intel cpu this time? (just curiosity) and from my experience, you really can't go wrong with asus mobos - They've lasted me years over the years ;)  A job well done by the looks of it, enjoy!  ;D

Mrs. Flenser and I had a wonderful afternoon yesterday, soaking up the sun and chatting with Right, while enjoying a really good cappuccino.

Right is super-nice, and I’m really glad I was able to meet him and hang out for a couple of hours.

It's just named that way so it shows up in the list. Variety is good. If people don't want to play it they won't vote for it.

I had an issue of mouse lag after win 11 update 24h2, and changing windows power option to "balanced" fixed that issue.
