Masterserver down?!

Hi,
When I played last night my Computer has crashed (it does very often do that in UT2k4 oO). After rebooting I couldn't reach the masterserver (KF and UT). I have heared that the UT masterserver is often down, can you tell me something about that, please?
at this point i must tell you that I'm a newbie (i have played it in singleplayer mode before many years) and i have installed it 3 days ago (just to play KF).
However, today I still had some trouble with the UT masterserver, but I had many servers in my list. - Only in KF my list is empty -.-

Does someone have an idea how do deal with that problem?

Does someone know a website with a serverlist?
Just for the case if there are no players on the [Mia] server.

The Unreal Tournament 2004 Master Server was down last night. I haven't checked to day yet. If you want a list of KF servers, try going to x-fire. And I shall put up a list of the most common KF servers below.

1. Miasma server (KF252) - 174.34.144.162:2600
2. r2K Slaughterhouse server (KF252) - 85.14.227.97:7777
3. UTzone (KF252) - 85.131.217.246:8464
4. DHz server (KF252) - 85.214.148.241:7777

What to do to log in, open your KF, then click "Server". Then RIGHT click on "server name" then choose OPEN IP! Type in the IP address above of the server you want to join and WHAM. You're in!

well, I have already figured out how to connect manually, but I haven't found the serverlist on xfire (maybe i should search more carefully ). But however, thank you for the list I have asked for.
btw: do you know how to get access to my favorites? I mean I can just add a server to my favorites, but I can't see a list of them.

EDIT: I still cannot find the serverlist on xfire, only the MiA and DHZ server on gametracker, but nvm...
