12 Monkeys and Total Recall, nice.
Donnie Darko was a bit of mind fuck for me :D

Silent Hill.  Seems some confusion but imo they died because of the gas.  To me me that seemed obvious when they escaped and got home and no one could see or hear them them.  I think SH Revelation lost it slightly :D  Lost it like the original Nightmare on Elm Street.  If you saw it: a monster haunts people's dreams.  The solution to the monster (explained at the end of Elm Street 1) was not to fear the monster.  But no, they have to make 900000 other Elm streets... so prolly will be more Silent Hills.

And Twilight, my pet hate.  A vampire is someone who died but has advanced knowledge of keeping their personality with their body, such as the Ancient Egyptians and their mummies.  For that reason vampires can't touch things, but they can lure people to their coffin so the body can have blood.  Long story short, and anyway vampire legends are pretty much confused with Vlad the Impaler.
A Werewolf is someone who by force of mind, or becoming friends with a wolf or dog and is welcomed to, can witness that world view.  But humans transformating themselves into a wolves NOooo, never!  fyi dogs / wolves see in black and white, but imagine countless shades of black to white.  The human eye for example sees black shadow and some light, but wolf/dog see huge variations of those shades.  Their 'darkness' is extremely hires so their world of night is a pretty place with extreme detail.
So Twilight, meh, it's Disney style. I'd like to see a vampire/werewolf film where they did serious research into legends.

Angel, the television series - Okay when you first watched it. I rather watch BUFFY!

As for vampires movies, I like Blade with Wesley Snipe, and Underworld with Kate Beckinsale (wowsie). Then there is 30 Days Of Night with Melissa George and Josh Harnett, Daybreakers with Ethan Hawke, and Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman. And Let Me In is pretty freaky.

Seen the Blade trilogy too. First one was the most entertaining for me.
It's probably the first move with "bullettime".

Yep. Seen that part with Stephen Dorf.

But I like the sequel, Blade 2 with the super vampires. "You DO NOT know who you're messing with!" line.

oops, yep except Blade /2, so cool. 8)

and Van Helsing

Dammit, there's excuses for everything, when it's done well  :D

off-topic, like Sheridan le fanu's, Camilla.  And almost anything by Poe - just love his writing style.

I don't know why, but I was never much of a movie person.
Previously known as: xS0NARx, Njordr, Latte, or whatever the "name of the week" was.
