Hello, 2 questions for VCTF map:
1. Is it possible to have in VCTF the lightning gun instead of snipe rifle ? The snipe rifle is the dumbest weapon I ever seen - is weak, and after few shoots you can't see anything because of the smoke.
2. Is it possible to have the spiders in the back in the respawn place ? Now after you respawn, you have to go inside of the tower to get the spiders and then to return on the back of the tower to pick a vehicle. Is it possible to move the spiders in the back of the tower where are the vehicles now ?

I don't think VCTF needs to be any more annoying than it is

And zok style : Take raptor go on enemy top lay minez and then use sniper ...

Spiders are a very important weapon, they should be in the respawn place, and lightning gun is much better than snipe rifle. Raj said he can do these changes, if more people are interested. Well, is anyone interested ?

The gametype would be better in my opinion with no spiders and a higher goal score.
(and maybe no flag)

Played solo the other night
3 straight flag runs with a few kills
35-45 pts game over
I like the idea of no spiders but then vehicle base campers will probably try to fill the void

No spiders is the worst idea. Spiders are the main weapon for most of the players.

Spiders require little or no skill to use, but that's not my point.
Spiders cause client and server strain as each requires additional channels of computation on the server and communication to the client machines.
16 players with 8 spiders each is a lot of strain on both server and client.
If there were no spiders people would be able to get to the flag more often and there'd be more good flag chases and chances to back up the flag runner.
I do occasionally take a vehicle in to the base for a bit of variety - but I don't think it's a good thing to do. I'd prefer it not to be done.

It would be nice if somehow the place of DOUBLE DAMAGE will be changed !!
No one can get there !!
If we use MANTA/RAPTOR its hard and only we get there by LUCK !
Its like DD stay there the whole game

I agree
A safe spot for each team would be the edge of the first hole comming out of the tower
There's a little dip in the terrain there that would allow limited cover from enemy fire (tanks)
