KF-Desert-25-Revised...
« on: August 08, 2010, 18:11 »
 :-[ To MiA gamers,

This map is a familiar one to some. But I thought I'd add a few things in it. KF-Desert-25-Revised. Seeing that the map is big, I then added a vehicle so the player can travel faster. The barn wouldn't be so far away. Then a money room is added. Finally, the trader is changed. It is Bugs Bunny instead of the regular. Here's the download link - http://www.filefront.com/17184225/KF_Desert_25_Revised.zip/.

Did you fix the pathing/AI issues? I remember that the zombies don't attack (except for the ones that have their spawn directly next to the barn) if you wait for them in front of the barn. You have to walk a long way until they get where you are and start walking towards you.

EDIT: Replaced farm with barn...

Yeah that map had some pathing problems.  But it's a survival map, so idk about a vehicle.  Besides, the Atlas only carries 1 person.

And just my personal opinion, but Bugs and sponge bob don't really fit in with KF style.  Can't you find a swamp monster or something like?  Maybe a Gothic girl trader ^^  I know where you can get one...

I did not know that. Never really noticed it. I also know that it has several "holes" in and around where the player can get in and go past the volume "holes".

That's the idea. I thought I'd try something out of place. But you can always change it. And , yeah post the links for the characters you mentioned - Swamp Thing, Gothic Girl. NOTE: I found one that is really hideous but the guy looks so UGH-LEH I don't think you'll like him too much. Anyways, below is an anim of a person on the crowd.

Yeah I guess something that fits with KF - the chained pound in Don't Fall Down, or some type of psycho - that you show in those anims would work.

The concept of KF to me is gritty London/England: mixtures of Dickensian grime and Orwellian oppression then add some zombies.

Darn! We have an educated genius here! Charles Dickens and Orwell - poverty and aliens. What a mix! I really don't know much about Orwell, but I do know about H.G. Wells, "War of the World". Somehow, I get this idea that Orwell is like a "V for Vendetta" type person.

Yep, they are spookier!  'Orwellian' refers to his book '1984' about a totalitarian state.  But 'educated' and 'genius' meh, the two seldom go together, the world is proof  :D
