Welcome Willy!
Eastern time zone from america... That's 6 hours after German time (or 5 hours after GMT). I guess when you join in the evening there will be no players on the server. It's now 00:21 here.

Last year most players were online at 22:00 (GMT+1), but it looks like these days they join 1-2 hours earlier. So try it on the (later) afternoon at your time zone.

Hi there, welcome :)

The time we played today is the time usually there's players online. I recommend trying out gTray for monitoring servers:

Maybe this is off-topic, but Raj:
Is there a way to monitor the server status in Desktopinfo ?

Yeah there is. You can write game server status to a file and display file contents in DesktopInfo.
This feature of DesktopInfo has a bug however. I'll contact the dev, maybe he can fix it.

It works most of the time though, I'll send you my solution :)

Thanks, Raj!
I know about this text file feature. Also I know it only shows the first line of the text file.
The problem to solve was for me: How can I automatically write the status to this file?

You could use a shell script cron job or even make an application for this. Or find an application.
Anyway, already sent something. I used vb scripting. :)

Thanks a lot. That's the way I had in mind, I really like your solution.
I just did not know about this great server monitoring tool before.

...Well, but, as you told me: Desktopinfo has some more bugs-.-
