Piglet: We're having continued attacks on the server and queries may well be dropped by the firewall from time to time. If you don't get a response try again in a few seconds. There's nothing that stops you from joiining or spectating. If you can't join there's some other cause which isn't likely to be to do with the game server. You should be able to join pretty much any time.
